Frequently asked questions about the editor

Does editing text ruin the layout?
No. The modified paragraph is reflowed using the document's embedded font, line breaks are recalculated, and the subsequent content shifts naturally. It is not a layer placed on top of the PDF.
Can I undo my changes?
Yes, unlimitedly: Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes. A step history is available and you can revert to the original document at any time.
Do my documents ever leave my computer?
Never. The editor works entirely locally: no internet connection is required to open, edit, or save a document.
Are all the tools in the editor?
The 20 PDF tools (merge, split, sign, watermark, compress, redact, forms...) are built into the editor. Image and conversion tools (compress, crop, convert, PDF ↔ images, Markdown) remain accessible separately from the home screen.
What signature formats are accepted?
You can draw your signature directly in the app (mouse or stylus) or import a PNG/JPEG image, then freely move, resize, and rotate it on the page.
