1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device when visiting a site. It can be used for the site's operation, audience measurement, or advertising. In France, non-strictly necessary cookies require consent (CNIL, ePrivacy / GDPR directives).

2. What the DocuNest site does

The marketing site docunest.app is a static site. In its current state:

• no audience measurement cookies (no Google Analytics, Matomo, Facebook Pixel, etc.);
• no advertising or targeting cookies;
• no consent banner, as no non-essential trackers are placed;
• no user account is created on the Site.
• the Site's infrastructure (Cloudflare) may set the __cf_bm cookie, strictly necessary for security (automated request management): exempt from consent, it is kept for about 30 minutes and renewed as needed;
• the Site may use the browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember display preferences: this data stays on your machine, is never transmitted, and can be deleted at any time from your browser.

Strictly necessary cookies could be placed only if a technical provider essential to the service (for example, a payment funnel) requires it. If applicable, this page will be updated and, if required by law, a consent collection will be added for non-essential trackers.

3. Desktop application

The DocuNest application works offline. It does not place browser cookies. Preferences (favorites, panel sizes) are stored locally on your machine (application localStorage). They are not transmitted to a DocuNest server.

4. Payment providers

During a license purchase, our reseller Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record, may set its own cookies or trackers on the payment pages it operates. These processes are governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy and cookie policy, which we invite you to consult at the time of payment.

5. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. This does not prevent you from using the Site in its current version, which does not depend on them.
